Was it something I ate.

I had this weird dream the other night that they came in and took apart my cubicles and moved a whole bunch of people into the space with us some of them were people I used to work with in the ecc, and all I wanted was some notice, but it just started happening around me, and they took down my walls and there was stuff moving everywhere. I couldn't work and I was panicking I felt like I got caught. I hate anxiety dreams!

Do you have a crush on someone?  You might say that

Name one thing you worry about running out of.  Time….I know totally cliché

Peppermint or spearmint?  Peppermint!

quietly)almost,
      your kiss
-e.e. cummings

What song(s) do you sing most often in the shower?  When I lived in Detroit I used to sing Flower by Liz Phair all the time, but then I found out that the vent in my bathroom connected to the vent in my neighbor's bathroom and it made a lot more sense why they were giving me such weird looks. Now I get up so damn early that I am too tired to sing.

If you could go back or forward in time, where would you go?  I dunno the general ramifications of time travel are pretty unsavory in my book, but I think it would be cool to see ancient civilizations develop

Worth Standing Up & Speaking Out

Anyone who knows me is, I am sure quite aware that I don't watch the news and am not much about current events. Recently I have been reading the paper a bit...it helps that it is free here on campus where I work, and having my interest peaked about several news stories I have been checking on the web as well.

One that I have been following is the Huntington, Utah mine collapse. While reading over several stories I came a cross a religious group in Kansas that has some very strong and HATEFUL feelings about this event. I am baffled by this group and even more so by the actions they are choosing to take. The following is the text taken from a flier available to print on their website:

Westboro Baptist Church (WBC Chronicles - Since 1955)

Religious Opinion and Bible Commentam on Current Events

Saturday, August 11,2007

NEWS RELEASE

Thank God for the Utah Mine Disaster.

WBC to picket the memorial services for the six dead

miners in the central Utah coal mine - assuming they

are dead, after so long a time missing without a word

or a sound; in religious protest and warning; to wit:

God Hates Fags! & Fag-Enablers - Ergo, God hates

Utah and America for surrendering to the fag agenda,

and because of which God is now punishing this evil,

sodomite nation with disaster after disaster,

including 911 I, Iraq, Katrina, West Virginia Mine

Disaster, Virginia Tech Massacre, The Shuttle

Disaster, etc., - and now: The Utah Mine Disaster.

Worse and More is Coming of the Wrath of a Raging Angry God,

Here is WBC's warning to America from God Almighty; to wit:

"Then my anger shall be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall befall them; so that they will say in that day, Are not these evils come upon us, because our God is not among us? And I will surely hide my face in that day for all the evils which they shall have wrought, in that they are turned unto other gods." Deut. 31:17,18.

"Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind; it is abomination." Lev. 18:22.

I just wanted to share my fear and unrest about this with you my ether and non-ether friends. That is an amazing amount of hate and it hurts my core. Thanks for letting me stand on my soap box.
