Sad Times

The Westboro Baptsist Church is back making headlines again. While they are never really out of the news since they are identified as one of the most active hate groups in America by more than 10 anti-defamation and diversity groups. This time they are spreading their words of hate all over Heath Ledger.

 " Shirley Phelps, of the Westboro Baptist Church in Topeka, Kansas, has told Sydney radio station 2Day FM that they will also picket any attempt to honor Ledger, 28, at next month's Academy Awards ceremony.

"I'm going to stand outside of any public memorial service that he has here," Ms Phelps said.

"And then the other place I'm going to picket him is when they prop him up to worship his dead, rotting carcass further at the Oscars. I'll be right outside by the red carpet."

With such a busy schedule...available on their newly revamped web site, charmingly titled www.godhatesfags.com it's hard to see how they can have time to hate on an international level. It's just sad times all around.

3 Things that are Small, Cheap, and Amazed Me

1.MUCINEX-D...the one in the red box.

I am healed and horking up chunks of goo!

2. Black Scuff Shield shoe buff.

My work shoes look classy again and the thing was super easy and under $3 bucks!

3.Dr. Sholes Active Walker shoe insert things.

I will admit that I am normally WAY TOO CHEAP to buy these from the store, but at Big Lots! they were only $2 bucks. My crappy work shoes that are now shiny and new on the outside are also soft and springy on the inside. It's neat because it has a support thing for my weird arches and a gel squishy part too.

The Muuseeum of Un-natural History

Present circumstances.

I am not a librarian and I need to assess my tribe.

San Diego is cool.

Hostel bathrooms are surprisingly clean.

I do not like MAC computers, no matter how amazing and intuitive people say they are.

I still don’t understand how people take a shower and get the whole room soaking wet…Katie I’m looking in your direction.

Walking to the hotel in the evening and traveling alone in general is not the scary thing my brain keeps telling me it is.

I am not managing my $ well at the moment….dad ? expect a call, sorry, but thank god for family and friends.

I miss my fuzzy man cat man and my sweet.

This conference seems like it will never end. (see my first point)

I had another point I wanted to add, but I forgot it. DAMMIT.

Oh yeah, I was at the conference to day from 7:45am-10pm....I am very sleepy!
