Yeah, but that is because it is fucking up and the belts need to be serviced so it makes this awful squealing sound. I like to be cool so I usually turn it on unless I am going a long enough distance and I open both windows in the front for a serious breeze. I have to admit that my car is old and the windows are not electric so I am pretty lazy and don't roll them down much.

What's the worst place you ever got a sunburn?
My worst sunburn was definitely on my nose, it was a fucking huge blister that I had to drain, it was rank, but as far as location goes…..hummm…..still gotta go with the nose, I'm not one to be naked in the daylight.

Nope.

Try to deal with it, but get crabby sometimes.

Define a lot? I'm not interested in someone who is shit faced all the day and night, but having a few drinks now and then is fine, I think it depends on a lot of different factors… too many to list here as this is a QUALITY waste of time.

For pleasure anytime and baths too, I love being in the water. If I am working or something I catch them in the morning. Night showers for going to work, etc. produce major puffy head.

Yes, inheritance from my family, it's locked up in a safe-deposit box. All the stuff I really love is sentimental and not worth $, just memories.

She asks me what I am doing and I try to explain, but I just looked like a lying liar that lies so she still thinks she caught me practicing sneaking out of the house.

the art of accessories and anger

i like accessories, there is nothing wrong with something nice, but layers get hot and i am mostly always sweaty. I also don't notice smell and am worried that i will need to have the sinus surgery that my father had, "you're next", he warned, but not relating to my sinuses.

i'm angry, i feel like i stick out here, but in general too. it still seems that disappearing is a better choice than...

i'm feeling a bit more than selfconsius all of a sudden, rouge computer, unplesent chair, windowless hotel conference room, i'm tired, i think i lost something in my hotel room or at some point on this trip and that irks me. bringing me back to accessories, and maybe when i'm cool, and what if that never happens, and who do i think i am.

i'm wondering right now if this will go into my junk e-mail forlder at work because of the title i gave it...

i need to buy some gum.

i guess i'll get up and hope that by tonight this "what not to wear" girl...as i was reminded by the reflection in the showerhead as i took a bath will be home in one peice, not in the hole until payday, and able to get a resonable nights sleep.

SAN FRANCISCO - The California Supreme Court has overturned a gay marriage ban in a ruling that would make the nation's largest state the second one to allow gay and lesbian weddings. The justices' 4-3 decision Thursday says domestic partnerships are not a good enough substitute for marriage. Chief Justice Ron George wrote the opinion.

The city of San Francisco, two dozen gay and lesbian couples and gay rights groups sued in March 2004 after the court halted San Francisco's monthlong same-sex wedding march. The case before the court involved a series of lawsuits seeking to overturn a voter-approved law that defines marriage as a union between a man and a woman.
With the ruling, California could become the second state after Massachusetts where gay and lesbian residents can marry.
"What happens in California, either way, will have a huge impact around the nation. It will set the tone," said Geoffrey Kors, executive director of the gay rights group Equality California. California already offers same-sex couples who register as domestic partners the same legal rights and responsibilities as married spouses, including the right to divorce and to sue for child support. It's therefore unclear what additional relief state lawmakers could offer short of marriage if the court renders the existing ban unconstitutional. A coalition of religious and social conservative groups is attempting to put a measure on the November ballot that would enshrine California's current laws banning gay marriage in the state constitution. The Secretary of State is expected to rule by the end of June whether the sponsors gathered enough signature to qualify the marriage amendment, similar to ones enacted in 26 other states. The cases before the California court were brought by the city of San Francisco, two dozen gay and lesbian couples, Equality California and another gay rights group in March 2004 after the court halted San Francisco's monthlong same-sex wedding march that took place at Mayor Gavin Newsom's direction.

-In the face of massive world wide devastation I have to pause and enjoy the small successes in this rocky bureaucracy.  I'm not saying anyone has to get married, but everyone should have the right to.

Sad Times

The Westboro Baptsist Church is back making headlines again. While they are never really out of the news since they are identified as one of the most active hate groups in America by more than 10 anti-defamation and diversity groups. This time they are spreading their words of hate all over Heath Ledger.

 " Shirley Phelps, of the Westboro Baptist Church in Topeka, Kansas, has told Sydney radio station 2Day FM that they will also picket any attempt to honor Ledger, 28, at next month's Academy Awards ceremony.

"I'm going to stand outside of any public memorial service that he has here," Ms Phelps said.

"And then the other place I'm going to picket him is when they prop him up to worship his dead, rotting carcass further at the Oscars. I'll be right outside by the red carpet."

With such a busy schedule...available on their newly revamped web site, charmingly titled www.godhatesfags.com it's hard to see how they can have time to hate on an international level. It's just sad times all around.

My work shoes look classy again and the thing was super easy and under $3 bucks!

3.Dr. Sholes Active Walker shoe insert things.

I will admit that I am normally WAY TOO CHEAP to buy these from the store, but at Big Lots! they were only $2 bucks. My crappy work shoes that are now shiny and new on the outside are also soft and springy on the inside. It's neat because it has a support thing for my weird arches and a gel squishy part too.

Present circumstances.

I am not a librarian and I need to assess my tribe.

San Diego is cool.

Hostel bathrooms are surprisingly clean.

I do not like MAC computers, no matter how amazing and intuitive people say they are.

I still don’t understand how people take a shower and get the whole room soaking wet…Katie I’m looking in your direction.

Walking to the hotel in the evening and traveling alone in general is not the scary thing my brain keeps telling me it is.

I am not managing my $ well at the moment….dad ? expect a call, sorry, but thank god for family and friends.

Was it something I ate.

I had this weird dream the other night that they came in and took apart my cubicles and moved a whole bunch of people into the space with us some of them were people I used to work with in the ecc, and all I wanted was some notice, but it just started happening around me, and they took down my walls and there was stuff moving everywhere. I couldn't work and I was panicking I felt like I got caught. I hate anxiety dreams!

Recently I have been reading the paper a bit...it helps that it is free here on campus where I work, and having my interest peaked about several news stories I have been checking on the web as well.

One that I have been following is the Huntington, Utah mine collapse. While reading over several stories I came a cross a religious group in Kansas that has some very strong and HATEFUL feelings about this event. I am baffled by this group and even more so by the actions they are choosing to take. The following is the text taken from a flier available to print on their website:

Sleeping, my mom work me up when she was leaving for work she had a portable TV under her arm and said something that I don't remember, she said to turn on the TV. I watched just enough to get some of the story and then I turned it off. I still have never really seen the footage of the planes hitting the towers. I read a lot of books and stopped watching TV or listening to the radio. When my head wasn't in the sand I read the paper and avoided looking at the pictures. 26. How long does it take you to get ready to go out?
Depends, to work I can be out of the house in 30min. I like to dawdle, so maybe a good hour when all is aid and done, but I am pretty anal about being on time, so I have to have enough time to dawdle.
